  I was one of the very first customers to ever enter the Franklin shop. I loved the bagels so much that I bought dozens and distributed them in several Delis in Bergen County. After turning people on to them, I asked the owner at Bagel Tree for a deal/ wholesale price because I wanted a route. I was willing to buy a bread delivery truck to serve thousands of people. Thought we agreed on price, the timing was off. I needed the bagels 2 hours before Remi started baking. Today, 20 plus yeas later and 2,500 miles away, I go there every chance I have when visiting friends and family. Without a doubt I will never say anything bad about this place... especially that I don’t get a hug and kiss when I enter it. I’m there to eat, not romance the person that puts an egg, bacon and cheese or just cream cheese on bagels. Yeah, I appreciate customer service, but I don’t despise myself by stop eating what I enjoy. Not eating what I like just to avoid giving someone the $6.00 makes less sense. I wish I was having my “USUAL” as I write this. Boy do I miss a great bagel, there’s nothing like it here in Arizona.
